Clinical Presentation and Epidemiology

The disease could also present as exudative diathesis and muscular dystrophy. Turkeys can show enlarged    hocks    and    dystrophy    of    the    gizzard    muscles. The disease generally manifests with increased mortality, ataxia, opisthotonos and recumbency with                                                paddling.

Management and Treatment

Ensure a diet with adequate amount of vitamin E. When feed is stored for more than 2weeks, an antioxidant should be used.
