Clinical Presentation and Epidemiology
Chicks may die before signs appear. Poor growth, diarrhoea, and weakness. Rest and walk on hocks due to inability to extend the hocks and progressive inward curling of the toes. Mortality is high by the third week.
Management and Treatment
If short-term disease, can recover with riboflavin supplementation.
